It’s hard not to succumb to Black and Gold Mania in New Orleans (that’s football-mania, for you non-Saints fans). While I’m not a football gal, I can’t deny the allure of black and gold together. So posh. So festive. So shiny.
So when Mallory and I popped in to Feet First on Magazine Street, it was no surprise I was instantly smitten by Sam Edelman, was it? It’s like both pairs were magnetic little lures dragging me towards them…

Both were like, RIDICULOUSLY priced, and I have a hard time justifying ridiculously priced + super stilettos that I’ll never wear.
But a gal can fantasize, right?

Hahah! I WISHHHH. They’d just sit in my closet collecting dust– something that pretty should be worn!
One word: eBay! I saw the black pair on eBay for at least half off less shipping. Someone used them in their fashion show and then decided to resell them.
I do love my Sam Edelman Lorissa heels and I love that Sam is having fun with this style of shoe! Also, check his cheaper brand: SE Boutique. He makes similar styles of his namesake brand and they are under $100.
