We Love Colors Curvy Girl of the Month!

I was delighted to hear that the week of Christmas, We Love Colors had chosen me as their “Curvy Girl of the Week.”  So imagine my surprise when I hear on the second day of January that I was their “Curvy Girl of the Month”!  It’s incredible to be chosen, to say the least.

It’s amazing that they’ve begun this “Curvy Girl of the …”. contest, because it’s important to see that companies are not only carrying products for the more voluptuous woman, but that they are also actually PROMOTING it and getting the word out that they DO carry such a broad line.

So often I hear in fashion, “Well making/carrying/selling plus sized clothes doesn’t SELL.”  Well, I think they don’t SELL because they’re often marketed poorly or not at all, to the wrong demographic, etc.  That’s another post though.

What I love about We Love Colors is the fact that they do strive so hard to cater to ALL women (and many men, too!).  I’m hoping to seem them expand the plus-sized line in the future– I’m itching for plus-sized thigh highs and vertical stripe tights!
