A reader recently tipped me off to LucieLu, another great website with plus-sized clothing for the modern gal. I love the manifesto of the company,

It is my goal to drive my brand with style, rather than size. To make as many original pieces as i can, all the while striving for great fits, wearable looks, not too young, not too old, gotta have them in my closet CLOTHES!
The LucieLu line will always be part timeless classics & part trend. A mix & match collection that will easily lend itself to cultivating your individual style. Play it safe or take a risk. Borrow from others or invent it yourself. Go neutral or pop a color. Be conservative or be bold. Keep comfortable or put yourself out there. And in the end, your style is born.

I should start eating more!!! I don’t have any experience with them but plus size or not, the pieces look lovely! I especially love the shoes and the accessories! The polip brooch is very cute.

I am below the borderline for plus size these days (yay!) but I still can totally appreciate the style and am thankful more clothes are coming out for larger women! Trying to find cute clothes above a size 14 is practically impossible!! the tatum dress and aveen dresses are gorgeous, off to check them out. :)

Even though I’m not a plus size I find it a good thing that companies finally start making nice and modern looking clothes for women with more curves ;-)

I don’t know much about plus sized clothing, but it alarms me that there is a limited selection of high quality and stylish looking garments available. It seems unfair, and I always feel a little bit disgruntled when I buy from labels that only do smaller sizes.
I love what they are doing, and the outfits you put together. Also semi unrelated, I like the shoes you picked out. You have good taste!

I’m a size 20(ish) haha.. and I’ve ordered from lucielu.com before!
Honestly, they have become my new favorite resource for trendy and affordable pieces!! The clothes fit exactly as described and if you have any questions on fit, just email them and you get a personal response within 24 hours!! You can not beat that kind of customer service!!
Also, the clothing is VERY nice, bright colors, very high quality fabrics.. I can’t say enough about the products and employees. Try them out for sure!
