Indie Designer: Color Me Conscious

Smitten. That was my first reaction when I read Miss Malaprop’s post about designer Color Me Conscious. Lee, talent behind Color Me Conscious, makes these gorgeous, rich, stunning, and bold cuffs that I fantasize about having on my wrist.  With multitudes of buttons, or flowers and pearls, her cuffs aren’t the only beautiful statement pieces in her shop (but they’re certainly my favorite).  Priced between $28-32, they aren’t likely to break your bank, either.

Color Me Conscious donates a portion of each sale to a charitable cause, and for January and February she’s RED inspired– and proceeds are going towards Heart Disease Prevention and Awareness.  Lee says of this month,

RED is the color of heart disease awareness and prevention. So as you enjoy each unique piece of red jewelry in my shop, remember the cause that inspired it…and know that Color Me Conscious has already pledged a minimum of $35 to The American Heart Association in support of our featured cause.

Miss Malaprop is also giving away one of these gorgeous cuffs– the Memoirs of a Geisha cuff.  To enter to win this beautiful cuff, leave a comment on Miss Malaprop here.

That first cuff is perfection! And it’s always nice to hear part of the sale is going towards a good cause. Thanks for sharing!

These are so colourful & pretty, and it’s great that they go towards helping a good cause :)

P.S I really love the new blog design. I’ve watched this blog grow since it was just a baby, and it has come on leaps since then. n_n

I am OBSESSED with those poppy accessories! I’ve tried making them before but they never turn out as good as the ones I see on etsy and I usually end up setting one or two on fire while trying to singe the edges! :P

They are great! A bit decadent…and I prefer cuffs to bangles, they are much more comfortable!

Ashe Mischief, merci merci merci for the lovely comments! These cuffs are actually as much fun to design as they are to wear…well, almost as much… ;-)

Bisous to everyone,
Lee for colormeconscious.etsy.com
