7 Treats for Valentine’s Day

- Spend the day in bed– induge in some love (self love or partner love). Massage sore body parts. Paint your nails. Eat meals in bed. Re-read your favorite books and listen to your favorite albums.
- Go to a concert and buy yourself the most delicious, ridiculously expensive drink ever while swaying your hips to the music.
- Cook yourself beautiful, calorie and flavor rich meals. Pancakes and bacon, fresh asparagus, rich chocolate desserts, enchiladas, coque au vin, sweet potato pie… whatever your love filled heart desires!
- Treat yourself to a movie of magic, love, mischief…. maybe The Frog and the Princess?
- Pamper your pooch, kitten, or other four legged friend with snuggles, cuddles, walks, games. Remember what a big part of their world you are–how hopelessly in love with you they are, and how hopelessly in love with them you are.
- Gather all your girl and boy friends, make popcorn, watch trashy tv shows or scary flicks, and remind yourself that great love, fantastic love, life-changing love, doesn’t have to be romantic.
- Spend the day volunteering or paying forward your love– visit and play with all the animals in a shelter, bring a bag of nail polishes, magazines, and chocolates to a women’s shelter, or bake cupcakes for your friend’s first grade class filled with underprivileged children.
