The lovely Miss Malaprop is going away on vacation soon, so we’re going to be doing a bit of guest posting at each other’s blog!
I’ve been a fan of TOMS shoes from an idealistic standpoint for awhile now. I love the fact that for every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in need, and that all of their shoes are manufactured under fair trade practices. But while I love their mission, I just couldn’t see myself really wearing any of their slip-on shoe styles. Until now – I just noticed that TOMS is now offering these amazing vegan wrap boots:

They’re available in 5 different colors: rust, red, black, chocolate and olive. Since they’ve got a 100% cotton canvas body with an EVA rubber sole, they’re a great non-leather, non-PVC alternative for someone in search of a stylish vegan boot. Check out the TOMS shoes website for these boots, plus more styles for men, women and kids.

I have the green ones of these. They’re very comfy but you do have to adjust the wrap part quite a bit… or at least I did. But I still like them. They’re cool and sort of Star Wars-ish.
I’m ALL about different looking shoes and boots, and thsoe definitely qualify!
I recently shopped @ http://www.neuaurashoes.com. The Esperanza style from NEUAURA really captures the Victorian era styling but with a modern twist. Very beautiful!
@Princess Poochie – I have worried about the wrap part & my big old “German” calves (as my parents call them)! I wonder if they’d only come up to my shin ;)
I was just going to say the same of my Scottish calves!
They remind me of mummy wrappings!
Cool boots! And I love that they give back to the world as well!
Another great site to check out for really lovely vegan boots is http://www.vegetarianshoesandbags.com/
The awesome thing about this site is, not only do they carry shoes and boots for the WHOLE family, the also carry vegan accessories and handbags!
PURE HEAVEN….lol
They are so cute but would they fit my 18″ calves of pure muscle? xD I have short stubby legs, so hard to find boots that fit!!
