♥ Hoop Mania I’m on board with so many other sassy ladies. My hoops & DVDs arrived recently, so I’ve been getting acquainted with a childhood love. While I’m not sure I’ve kept it up longer than a minute, I don’t know that I’ve ever had so much fun failing at something. It’s a great way to unwind after a long day in a cubicle & helps with bodily pains. Last night I made a hooping playlist, something fun & playful to practice to, that includes: Justin Timberlake, The Faint, The Ting Tings, Michael Jackson, & more!
♥ Spring Storms Though it’s not quite Spring, I’m loving the burst of warm weather & accompanying storms that have come with it. The wind is fierce and loud, the skies ominous, with bursts of light peering through. They’re beautiful, electric, and magical, and make me feel totally alive.
♥ Arts & Entertainment Tomorrow I enjoy a half day to travel to Indianapolis & see Saltimanco & later in the month to see comedian Jeff Dunham! Also on the agenda tomorrow is a trip to see Coraline in 3-D. The Faux Beau & I have taken to shaking up our weekends a bit more, by seeing movies, inviting friends over, and I think it’s been boosting our morale.
& Others: Watching Dr. Who and My So-Called Life; The Mae Shi’s R U PROFESSIONAL (Christian Bale lovers watch out!); Dollhouse premiering this week; home cooking (making my own tomato sauce–delish!); my Stephen Colbert desk calendar; finishing books.

“RU Professional” was awesome. I’ve loved The Mae Shi since my friend was booking them (they’ve switched companies now, but they still rock)!
Hoop mania? I feel so out of it!
All of this hoop stuff I’ve been seeing kind of makes me want to try it. Only when I looked at the price of the hoops they seem expensive sort of? And kind of large to store!
