The Films of Erin Fetherston

by Ashe on August 30, 2009

One of the things I love about Erin Fetherston’s designs are how they transcend a style, a brand, and create a lifestyle for the girl who wears it. Her pieces aren’t simply about looking like a doll, pretending your life is a fairytale, or thinking you’re magical, but are about being and living those things.

To be honest, I’m not always sure I could see myself wearing her cute outfits or punctuated with her darling accessories…. yet, I can almost always see myself living in her short films…

She’s really smart about branding… And I have to say, I was impressed with the black and white birds of a feather film… Beautiful, like a New Wave film.

She’s just fantastic, isn’t she? I’m not sure I’ll ever get the fashion connection/infatuation with Kirsten Dunst but I love them all.

Will I find darling, virginal outfits if I look under the evergreens in my neighbourhood?
