The rules:

I recently stripped everything off my style/inspiration board. Partially to make room for a calendar (so I don’t forget to pay bills), and partially to update it. Which obviously hasn’t been done.
I decorated my desk after freshman year of college. It took me most of the summer. A couple of years ago, I decided it was a bit too young and unpolished, and have been (really slowly) in the process of trying to strip it down and make it more classic. I have a lovely way of ruining beautiful things.
Occasionally I also do blogging bits from work. Though you’ll never catch me admitting that.
Reminders of the Faux Beau (his Christmas gifts to me). A red stapler ala Office Space and a day calendar of my boyfriend, Steven Colbert.

Lara, sometimes I do it in front of the TV! (Hrmm, that came out dirty.) Usually when I’m feeling guilty about neglecting my blog.
Marketa, I *just* got my first pair of Mohop’s for Christmas! I keep the pictures up to keep me inspired on ways to wear them, once the weather gets nice enough that I actually can :/ They’re so beautiful though!

I love your desk! I had a chair I covered completely in buttons once. I loved the way it looked, but it was horribly uncomfortable and my cat broke it :/

Your desk is so fun. I also have a slight tendency to over do things, but I don’t think I’ve done anything quite so awesome as those bottle caps…

Uhmmm… why am I not completely surprised that we have the exact same stapler, screen saver (rabbit love), file folders, and desk organizers at work? I mean really… NO surprise. XXOO
