OhMiBod Review: Freestyle Wireless Vibes

by Ashe Mischief on October 22, 2009

This guest post is by the gorgeous Mallory over at Miss Malaprop.com. Please continue to check out her site if you love to live an environmentally friendly, sustainable, and green lifestyle!

While this post may seem a bit of a departure from our normal talk of fashion & costumes, dramatis personae does remain a sex-happy and positive place (and I will do all I can to encourage that!).

Via We Heart It

A few weeks ago the guys from OhMiBod added me on Twitter (@ohmibod) and sent me a note letting me know that they like my website. (!!! They like my website??) Of course I immediately responded and let them know I had a crush on them too, as I’d been seeing their products mentioned around the blogosphere for awhile. And then the most amazing thing happened. They offered to send me one of their brand new Freestyle wireless vibes! Who was I to say no to an offer like that??

All of the things I’d heard about the OhMiBod collection of music powered sex toys was very, very true. The OhMiBod toys “dance” to the music generated by your iPod or home audio system, creating a unique and unforgettable experience. I noticed that my Freestyle picked up on certain ranges of sound more than others, some of which were unexpected. You’ll have fun testing it out though, I promise. I only thought I was a big fan of Goldfrapp before listening to Ride a White Horse and Utopia with the Freestyle in hand. Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire was also strangely effective.

Most traditional vibrators kind of bore me, to be honest. But with the Freestyle, this was never the case. Even though I already knew how the music would sound, I didn’t necessarily know how the Freestyle would interpret it, so it kept things interesting. And I discovered that it was just as much fun alone as with a partner. ;)

Equally important to me as the functional aspects of the Freestyle was the form. The OhMiBod toys are all made from phthalate free materials, and molded using a hypoallergenic non-toxic, non porous ABS plastic. I don’t want to worry about crazy chemicals leaching their way into my body while I’m supposed to be enjoying myself! The Freestyle is also made to go with you absolutely anywhere. It comes with a fancy travel case and a universal charger with adapters for the US, UK, EU and Australia/New Zealand. What more could you possibly ask for?

The holidays are coming up, and I think if I hadn’t already gotten one of these Freestyles, it just might be what I put on my list to Santa. As it is, I’ve already got my eye on OhMiBod’s Club Vibe.

OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!

That sounds like a great time waiting to happen. It really “dances” to the music?

She’s using it wrong in that second photo. It’s a vibrator not a Mr. Microphone!

It doesn’t wiggle dance, if that makes sense, but it definitely vibrates in time to the music!

Love this post! But I had to read it twice to make sure I knew what the product was ;-)

Love the green element and variety but boy this makes me feel out of the loop. I had no idea things like this existed, FUN!

Whoa – holiday gifts, anyone? I’ll take two! (And no, I have no idea what I’d do with the second one, haha.)
