If you’ve been following me on twitter, you may have noticed a few teary nights and enigmatic comments. If I’ve been abscent here, and there, and via email, it’s because I’m fighting to fit a few precious moments in with the fella before he moves on Saturday.
G and I have had a unconventional relationship for years, but I know a few things: we very much love each other and we are very much a big part of one another’s lives. We’re best friends, partners-in-crime, and lovers, and that’s all I could ask for.
The upcoming weeks will be very tough– so if my posting becomes erratic or irregular, I apologize!
In the meantime, I can say this: I’m happy he’s making a move (to Denver), that will allow him to begin the healing process after the damage our time in Indiana has done to us both. In due time, I’m hoping that I too will begin that process, whether by his side physically, or in a city that can nurture me. The distance will be hard, and though neither of us knows the future, I think we both know it will be one that involves the other.
Additionally, I’m hoping that he and I will both be reading our copies of The Peril of Magnificent Love
