OMG Shoes! The Memorial Day Edition

A special Memorial Day “OH-My-God, Shoes!” update! When I found out that Steve Madden is having a BOGO on select styles for Memorial Day, I hopped on over to the site. Because summer is coming up, and I thought some new flats would be perfect for the change in weather.
The Colonial (in black & white)
. You may recall me saying in part 4 of developing my wardrobe palette that I wanted a pair of duo/tri-tone spectators. When I saw these, it was love at first site. I love how the pointed toe makes them a bit more masculine looking. I think changing the laces out could provide more opportunity and playfulness to the shoe, and they’ll make a great alternative to my black or red flat wearing (too many days a week).

I first saw these when I wrote about sandals for my fantasty trip to Fiji. To be honest, I’ve thought about them a lot since. I’m not a sandal girl typically, so this will be the first pair I own. I’m looking forward to wearing them at work, for a playful and tough nod. I hope they’re comfortable, and I hope I don’t get self conscious about showing off my feet.

I like the sandals, but I’d like them even better with a high heel!

Oh my, the first pair are absolutely fantastic! If they come in a size 44, I am so getting them lol. And the sandals look lovely, I adore that top studded detailing :)

@dapper kid – The sign of a beautiful shoe– boys and girls alike want to wear them! I found the most gorgeous men’s shoes the other day… sadly only in a men’s 13. So sad!
