I know I just wrote about Pour la Victoire shoes but, because of a few lovely comments, and more snooping on the internet, I HAD to do a second post.
I’m SO certain you’re all complaining about seeing pretty shoes on a Sunday anyhow, aren’t you?
Kathryn wrote, “Do they all have ridiculously high heels? I love the aesthetic, but I’m a flats girl…” which I TOTALLY get.
I only wear my ridiculously high heels to work when I don’t have tons of filing to do, and I can bank on a lot of desk time. Or I wear them for short increments of time.

Pour La Victoire Charlie Oxford
I’m absolutely in love with this pair of flats. I love how soft the patent is with the color, how delicate they look, and how they really play with masculine & feminine elements. I’m going to be scouring the internet for good deals on these and keeping a close eye…
I love that Pour la Victoire’s flats keep the same general aesthetic as their heels, while making the flats very visually interesting to look at. That’s not an easy task to accomplish, as many flats, I find, tend to end up looking very plain, very boring, very much like every other flat shoe on the market… it really makes it difficult to find good ones, especially good black flats.
And one more for the road… Sorry! Couldn’t resist one more lovely, architectural heel that I’m drooling over….

Love the zipper-detail ones. I think I have a new favorite shoe label. =D

You & me both, Alicia! If they’re as comfortable as Jennine & Jordana say they are, then my plastic may not be safe!
Oooohh Thanks–
Clicked on the link and also found the electric blue Bijan ones, and and and
dangerous…..
Those Lorin Booties are dangerous… dangerous for my wallet and state of mind. Great picks!

That last heel is TO DIE FOR! And I love the studded booties, and the zipper flats!

I wonder what the bottoms are like on those flat sandals – my Saltwaters are HARD on the bottom and walking around anywhere is like walking with a board strapped to your foot. (My main beef with most gladiators is that – hard flat bottoms)

@birdie
On the money–I always have a problem with ankle straps that way, too—if the sole’s not flexible, they really tug and rub, except for a pair of Donald Pliners that are black microfiber stretch–kinda Goth/BDSM…
But yes, I have an issue with the super hard, flat soles for much walking–but for standing around at a party or a bar–superb!
and my face doesn’t get that pained look!
