Oh My God, Shoes! John Fluevog

oh my god shoes

It’s no surprise that I’m a fan of John Fluevogs. Does huge fan even begin to describe it? I’m not certain…

The LA Melrose: AKA Sex on a Wedge

Fluevogs are really wonderfully branded shoes; much like the great brands of Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik, his shoes are instantly recognizable by fans (and I’m certain you can tell what kind of person they are just by the style they choose!).

While I’m harboring crushes and lusty fantasies on half a dozen pair of Fluevogs at a time, I try to be smart and savvy about the ones I actually buy. It’s limited to those I can’t live without, and I always try to shop when they’re on sale…

So I want to share a few of my favorites, along with the amazing places you can buy them for too good to be real prices.

Right now, Amazon is an INCREDIBLE resource for certain sale Fluevogs.

I just caved this morning, and ordered my long coveted Inge Cuffed Boot.  At $230, that’s about $200 off what the Fluevog site is selling them for. Considering I’ve wanted them since they were introduced, I felt that it was a worthwhile investment.

Had I know that my beloved Mansfield brogue was on sale when I placed the order, (for $76-88), I might have thrown them in the cart, too.  I love the vibrant blue around the lacing, as I think it takes an ordinary trend and turns it in to an extraordinary shoe.

t-strap

Available in both brown and black, the T-Strap Pump is hardly a bad investment for any woman’s wardrobe, especially when priced at $68 and $73.  That’s cheaper than a pair of Steven Madden’s, Nine West, or any comparable shoe. And you’ll love them more, trust me.

I promise you, these are no April Fool’s Day prices!

OH MY GOD… is right! The first boot, the LA Melrose is lust at first sight and the Inge boot is equal parts puritan and purple. I will certainly check out Fluevogs in the future.

The boots! The boots! Do I really need boots when winter is over? Yes, especially when they’re so cute.

It’s always great to see a talented Vancouver designer get recognition for their work!

You all totally make my shoe-loving heart beam! I’m so glad to know that I’m not the only Fluevog loving fan in this house, and that I’m a good pusher of delish shoes ;)
