Last month was a bit lackluster in the completion of my monthly goals; I was so focused on my challenge in ways that I forgot I had other things I wanted to do.
The most important outcome from my February Monthly Challenge/ICING Transformation Challenge was the dialogue between my brain and body. As I began to introduce eating out back in to my diet (and finding I failed miserably at the $40 budget), I did find that my body had its own things to say about doing this. Namely, if there’s a restaurant drive-thru, it’s not going to be happy. If it’s fried, it’s not going to be happy anymore. It was annoying getting ill eating tempura & sushi, but I’ve got to listen to my body, yes?
March’s Monthly Challenge will be to continue February’s: to take advantage of the changing weather, spend more time walking outdoors, hiking, & hooping, and to incorporate more healthy foods in to my diet. The boy & I are incorporating more South Beach Diet style eating in to lives, so that we’re getting more vegetables & fruits daily.
With the change in weather, it’ll be great for March’s Monthly Goals.
♥ Use up my fabric stash and make new Spring/Summer clothes.
♥ Destash my old fine art photography prints and get them up on the Mischief, My Dear Shop.
♥ Walk outside at least 3 days a week.
♥ Get more hair pieces (and tiny top hats finally!) in to the shop!
How about you cher? Anything you’re aching and itching to get done during this month of March Madness?

March is my 21st birthday month, so other than having awesome parties and getting presents I am;
- Attending training for my new job so I can steward music events during the Summer. <3
- Starting to Volunteer for an Art’s programme for kids who have been kicked out of school.
- Hoping to make my blog in to a website.
- Having tea crawls, crashing coffee mornings & serving tea to the homeless as part of my new collaborative project. Should be setting up an exhibition space in the studio too!
Goals:
#1- Finish 101 list
#2- Start to work on goals on that list
#3- Try to find more usable time in the day
My March goals are to start seriously networking for jobs (I graduate in May – yikes!) and to blog more frequently. And as a continuation from Lent, to work on my anxiety. So far, so good! :)
Best of luck with your goals, I think I’m going to set some of my own this month, it may help me focus a little better on the things I *have* to do!
Those are great goals–specific, achievable, and measurable.
Hmmm…as for me:
1. Get the magazine laid out in time for the April release.
2. Attend at least two networking functions. I turn into such a homebody in the winter!
3. Continue working out. Now that the weather has broken (thank God!) I’ll probably start running again.
Good luck to everyone!
@Melanie – I seriously LOVE that you’re volunteering with an arts program, esp. with that angle. It’s so wonderful, and I’d love to hear more about it! And your work with the homeless, too… we should all aspire to do so much community service! And yay for birthday month! Congrats on 21, dear! <3 <3
@Samantha Darko – I hear you on the 101 list… I’ve been working on a list for years now!
@Leland – Cutting down on anxiety sounds like a GREAT goal! Just in time, too, with graduation coming up. That’s so exciting!
@Vixel – If/when you set goals, I hope to see them!
@Tamia – Excellent goals, dear! I know that I’m super excited for the magazine release (which reminds me– I need to get my info to you!). I’m so impressed you’re a runner.
