I’ve been thinking a lot about the inspirations I bring in to my daily life; what better day to start sharing those with you, than on Lewis Carroll’s birthday. Lewis Carroll is responsible for one of my favorite delight’s, Alice in Wonderland.
One of the most lovely things about bringing Alice in Wonderland in to my life as an inspiration is the versatility of it all. With such a wide range of characters, actions, and settings, the sky is the limit
Though I didn’t intend it to, I think this set is a very playful nod to the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter…

This second set is an older set, one that I did for the Mad Hatter’s Virtual Tea Party. While the above style has a bit more bold and edgy, I think this one is a bit truer to my Alice side…

I suppose this post marks a new bit of journeying in my blogging– one that I hope will help map out my style during this new phase in my life and inspire me to incorporate fun, mischievous, & whimsical touches in to my daily wardobe. A bit like a trip down the rabbit hole, if you will….

I love these sets. *swoons*
i am a HUGE fan of Lewis Carroll and i instantly feel a certain affinity for anyone who is also inspired, etc. great sets by the way!
This is my favorite post you have ever done! Ever, ever, ever!!!
Love you!
Oh, I love these. And I totally have those peacock tights. They are amazing!
I love the fun/whimsy of Alice and wonderland. I remember when Gwen Stefani did the whole look. It was a little too over the top for me but these pieces separately are fun and I would totally add them to my everyday look.
I adore those Miu Miu teacup shoes.
I love those red shoes…wow, dreamy x
These are great! I watched Alice in Wonderland for the first time during this past year. How deprived I’d been! I ordered to book, so I can’t wait to start reading it soon =D
O.M.G. The red teacup shoes…those really blow my skirt up! Clearly I love Alice In Wonderland (tribute act, and Alice inspired tattoo) but these sets are amazing. I love all of it.

Simply lovely. You have such a good eye Ashe!
I went to a Mad Hatters Tea Party for New Years Eve, I had an awesome time dressing up for it!
To Michelle- I think the hat may be by Topsy Turvy Designs. I have several hats by her and they are simply the best!
Your sets are awesome interpretations! Don’t you love Polyvore? I have an idea for doing something Polyvore-esque for IFB around Valentine’s Day…posting in the forums. :)
