It’s so easy for me to get wrapped up in who *I* want to be for Halloween, and to be overwhelmed by too many ideas… so a brief exercise and I have some great costumes for boys, couples, and one to unleash your inner child…
♥ Sam & Dean Winchester!
It’s no surprise and joke that I have a huge ole crush on Dean Winchester… can you blame me? That smile, that smirk… he can handle his gun What guy wouldn’t want to dress up like tv’s most bad-ass brothers? I’d throw myself at their feet…
Perk: Other than being hotties, what guy doesn’t have similar wardrobe pieces? It’s the lazy man’s costume.
Needs: Toy guns, salt weapons, sexy mystical tattoos. Impala optional (but might score you a better chance of getting some). Button-up shirts, leather coats or cargo coats, boots.
♥ Spike & Drusilla
For the geek-chic couple, who are a bit bad-ass and bit of Whedonites… who could resist going as Spike and Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer? With Spike’s bad boy Billy Idol image, and Drusilla’s Victorian meets Hot Topic gothic stylings, costumes for these two are a snap to put together…
Perks: Easy costume pieces to find; perfect for the beau and lady who love to coordinate their ensembles; room for expansion if you want to do a group costume! (Add in a Giles, Willow, Buffy, and Xander…)
Needs: Vampy fangs, long lush locks. Boots for kicking ass and taking names, and British accents. Overly gothic or Victoriana gowns, lots of lace, chokers or bold necklaces. Long leather trenchcoat, bottle of liquor, and bleached hair.
♥ Coraline
I’d be lying if I said I came up with this darling idea… but when I saw a friend was buying the doll for her costume, I became instantly infatuated with the idea. I want to be an asshole and steal her costume idea. Fun for children, or fun for big kids…and it’d be oh-so-easy to add a sexy twist!
Perks: Great for bad weather with the rain coat and boots, and easily adaptable to suit any of Coraline’s many adorable outfits… You’ll also excite & attract the best Halloween revelers, because they’re going to be the ones who recognize you & you’ll have something to talk about.
Needs: Blue wig, rain slicker & boots, dragonfly barrette, and wide-eyed innocence.

I don’t know who Sean and Dean Winchester are, but I don’t watch a lot of tv. So that’s probably why!

I used to have that blue wig, and that Coraline costume would be so cute! I wonder what happened to that wig.

Oh my gosh I am a huge Dean W. fan. Both boys are gorgeous but I lean to the dean side. If a guy decides to go as dean winchester I would be impressed.
