I’ve been thinking about my July horoscope (via Susan Miller’s AstrologyZone) and the relevancy it has in my life this month. While I tend not to put too much stock in daily horoscopes, I do tend to believe that the universe and everything within it are connected– so on a bigger, more long-term scale, I don’t see why the movement of a planet(s) wouldn’t affect our daily lives. This is why Susan Miller’s monthly horoscopes are a favorite of mine– in depth without being too specific, while taking in to account shifts & changes in the universe. Most months I find them rarely of note… this month was different.
Given many of the changes going on in my life this month, especially, I found that my July horoscope was more a horrorscope, too accurately depicting the changes in my life.
♥ July could well be your landmark month of 2009 for it heralds the start of a new family of eclipses in Cancer and your opposite sign of Capricorn. Not since 2000 and 2001 have we seen a series of eclipses in this family of signs, and now that they will begin in July, they will keep coming, every six months, until July 2011.
I find this kind of eery, because 2001 was a huge year for me…. it’s when I moved out and off on my own for the first time, and started college.
♥ The first one will arrive as a full moon lunar eclipse July 7 in Capricorn…. This one will light your house of partnerships, emphasizing your present alliances but also those from the past. This is a full moon, so your relationship is about to reach a culmination point of great importance.
Most eclipses set up a sudden development, but because so much happens at eclipse time, it is hard to see all the facts at once…. Eclipses will illuminate your relationship in a new way, and for some, it will test the strength of the tie. They are meant to keep you moving forward, so often our timetables are dramatically speeded up after an eclipse occurs.
♥ Eclipses help us evolve into a more mature and sophisticated version of ourselves. They also test the strength of our relationships and our sense of purpose, determination, and courage. If you’ve needed a reason to take a big step, the eclipse will provide it. Indeed, there is nothing like an eclipse to shake us out of our compliancy and give us a reason to view things differently.

♥ Even if your birthday was not named, you still may see some sort of culmination to a serious close relationship, whether romantic or business in nature. Depending how things have been going lately, the results could be wonderful or not so wonderful. Still, I feel you have a good chance for a happy development because Saturn will be so supportive to this eclipse.
♥ Full moon eclipses do bring endings, but it could be the end of your single life. Or, of course, it could mean you are done with your relationship and are about to throw in the towel. Decisions made at eclipse time tend to be final. Because full moons eclipses add a strong emotional influence to bear, it would be best to think through your actions and not make a snap decision.
♥ Sometimes during a solar eclipse, a prominent man will leave your life for any number of reasons, so you need to be ready for that near July 21.
♥ Romantically, as you might have guessed, this month is a bit more about Cancers who are attached. If that’s you, you will need to decide what you need in a relationship to make you happy. If you feel you’ve found that special someone – your “true north” – you will be given the impetus to move forward. If you have discovered things in your partner that give you pause, you can go for counseling, or you can leave. The choice will be yours.

♥ Your life is about to be turned inside out in months to come, but changes are long overdue. You are ready for the next phase you are about to enter. When this period is over, even you – the one who claims to like to keep things “as is” – will agree that shifts worked out for the better.
Do any other Cancers feel this hitting the nose on the head?
Maybe I’m crazy, but sometimes there’s something nice about hearing what you’re feeling from a stranger.

Call me superstitious, but I really do believe in horoscopes. I mean I don’t consult my psychic when making major decisions, but there’s something uncanny about our personality characteristics reflected back in our sign’s characteristics…
“Maybe I’m crazy, but sometimes there’s something nice about hearing what you’re feeling from a stranger.” –> I really think people find comfort with therapists and horoscopes in a similar manner.

I’m on the opposite end (Capricorn), and I read her monthlies, too. I find that a lot of the July forecasting is coming to fruition. Weird.

Wow, I tend to be a bit of a skeptic but having just read mine (Scorpio) bits of that are uncannily true too! It says I’ll be thinking about moving home, moving in with my partner, thinking about joint finances, signing a contract, all very true. It also said my relationship would start to improve after the 11th, which was around when it did!
There will be no talk of babies and I can’t afford to do the extensive travelling it seems to imply I’ll be doing however!

I don’t usually believe in horoscopes either, but every now & then I’ll read something which is so eerily relevant to my life that I can’t help but stop & listen! I’d never heard of Susan’s website (colour me ignorant), so thanks for the introduction!
