Beth Ditto for Evans U.K.

by Ashe Mischief on July 14, 2009

I’ve been finding a lot of great shops in the U.K. and Australia that offer incredible clothes for girls of all sizes– it’s great to find more and more youthful, playful, and non-frumpy alternatives for my wardrobe!

As a result, I’m really kind of excited about the release of Beth Ditto for Evans U.K. Finally, a collection that fits my playful, party girl side!  It also caters to my unending and often grotesque love of 80s fashions…

GIMME GIMME!!!
Denim Pencil Skirt (fits all my 80s needs!) ♥ High Waisted Black Leggings AND these yummy Purple Swirl Print Leggings (the fella thinks these are god awful. I told him when he moves, he can’t stop me from wearing them, while dressing Lottie in a taco costume! HAH!) ♥ Matching Optional: Purple Swirl Hoody ♥ My FAVORITE: Geo Sequin Prom Dress (though I equally like the Geo Sequin Shirt, too).

I kind of love the collection… while I certainly wouldn’t wear all of the pieces available, I think they’re a really good representation of what Miss Beth Ditto is about, and that’s fun fashion for larger ladies.

Exchange rate: why you gotta suck so much?

These are fun and fantastic — I want that dress! It always seem that Australian and UK companies are ahead of the game when it comes to fashion for full-figured women.

Um. These are great!!! I love the denim pencil skirt. I’m generally afraid of the pencil skirt silhouette, but this looks figure flattering! BTW- the exchange rate is so much better than last year when it was nearly 2 dollars to the pound!

These are really looking good! Rightly so, we wouldn’t want an awful clothing line to taint all the good hype Beth Ditto is getting nowadays.

Regarding your comment on my blog btw, I love the idea of flat-backed studs. Come to think of it, I even might consider DIY-ing using rhinestones haha. Thanks for the idea!

@Tara – I completely agree that AUD & UK designers are ahead of the game concerning full figured women! Obviously I need to shop (or live) across the pond.

@DreamSequins- the exchange rate is DEFINITELY better. I also agree on the pencil silhouette– it typically terrifies me, but this looks great! Not to mention the waistband looks comfy.

@Fabulous Finds & @ The Coveted — Isn’t it great to see such cute pieces! Beth Ditto did us proud…

@Dandy Project, I do hope you do the rhinestones! I think they’d be super chic with your style…

@Sarah Hannah, thank you for stopping by, honey! I hope you’ll do so again–esp. since we share similar tastes in dresses :D

@Vixel, I will be jealous if you do!
