An accomplishment– actually getting this list up on a Thursday!
Today’s TiLT starts with something very special to me….
♥ The Birth of the Faux Beau!!! Last Thursday My Darling Boy turned 26 years old, and I couldn’t be more happy to share this day with him.
♥ Pumpkin Days! While the temperatures are reminiscent of an Indian Summer still, the fall foilage is starting to bloom. And what better time of year for apple picking, pumpkin patch hopping, and hay rides? Or at least wine tasting in the midst of all this!
♥ Lady Coveted’s Halloween in your Closet series! Sustainable Halloween, for the win! I love that she’s using pieces in her wardrobe to create fun, comfortable, and definitely cute ensembles for Halloween. A much better alternative than buying cheap Leg Avenue costumes made in exploitative factories that you’d dispose of!
♥ Eating at home! When the Faux Beau and I eat at home, it can be so much more delightful than eating out (which we do WAY too much of anyhow!). From failed efforts in seared Mahi, to barbecued flank steak, to tons of alfredo & penne combinations (a favorite!), the whole process is fun. I love how he becomes kitchen commando, how we snuggle up and catch up on tv shows after, running out while he cooks to pick up complimentary foods and drinks.
♥ Breaking in my Corso Como Booties! After several weeks (and wearing them several times a week) my Corso Como booties have become my most comfortable and favorite black heel. I love how my feel look in them, tying them in the back… In fact, I’m wearing them today!
♥ My Lady Tweeters! haha, I think the chit chats on Twitter have become a highlight of my work day… from conversations about True Blood to the happenings of our pets and families, Twitter has been a great way to develop my relationships with my favorite bloggers and keep actively in touch with them. Love you ladies (and gents ;)
♥ Honorable Mentions Heart-shaped post-its; Faux Beau texting me pictures of Lottie at work; colder nights mean Lottie snuggling up to me more often!; the color of changing leaves; eating dinner at the lake; fall foods at the farmer’s market!; confidence and feeling cute (especially after a day of feeling sick and gross-looking!); perms; saving up for things I really want & knowing that I do want them after the wait!
