Grinning and Baring It, Babes

I love to see people smiling, particularly in photographs. Your expressions say and reveal so much about you that, in this day of digital media, perhaps it’s no surprise to see people taking a more stoic stance in their photographs. Then there is some mystery, something that remains secret and sacred from strangers…

Since I tend to smile in photographs, and advocate smiling for others, I thought I’d share off some of the bright, gorgeous grins that frequent my daily reader…

Who can deny the inescapable charms of Wendy B? Not only does she have a gorgeous smile in damn near all of her pictures, she’s an avid fan of molesting flowers. So long as children nor animals are involved, I’m pretty okay with consensual molestation. Back to her smiling; if I recall, one Ms. Brandes is not a fan of not smiling. That makes me a pretty big fan of hers.

And let’s not forget the vibrant and delightfully expressive face of Ms. Jennine? It’s been remarkable to see how as The Coveted as a blog has grown; if you compare older images with newer ones, Jennine’s become so welcoming and inviting in her images.

We have a batch of ladies whose smiles I love, though they don’t often come out to play! Whenever I see an image of these gals smiling, it always catches my attention… So I have dubbed these Lasses with

Ack! The Adorable Nubby Twiglet. There are many reasons to admire Ms. Twiglet, and her posin’ ability is one of them– girl is always fierce. But I think one of her hidden traits and talents must be that vibrant grin she gives off. Look, it even attracts the likes of such dapper men like Voltaire!. (Who bares an equally charming grin himself)

And how could I forget the coy and mischievous smile of the ever-darling Clothes Horse? Though Miss R’s dashing poses and locations are often the focus on her daily images, I and her other readers notice when the Clothes Horse bares a little grin… (and for the ultimate in cute grins, check out her 1 year blogiversary post!)

Consider this a heartfelt thank you, to these lovely ladies (and so many more & gents, too!), who regularly brighten my daily reader.
